SierraSurf DLSS 30+

Chemical Name / INCI:

Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate

CAS #:

39354-45-5

Chemical Family:

Anionic Surfactants > Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinates

OVERVIEW

SierraSurf DLSS 30+ is a very mild, low-color anionic surfactant derived from an ethoxylated lauryl alcohol sulfosuccinate with a narrower (UVCB) ethoxylation distribution, offering effective wetting, emulsification, and stabilization across a range of aqueous systems. It is well suited for use in latex emulsion polymerization for paints, coatings, adhesives, and related formulations, while also delivering excellent foaming performance in personal care and HI&I applications. When blended with Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES), SierraSurf DLSS 30+ enhances foam volume, foam stability, and viscosity response, supporting formulations that balance strong performance with mildness to skin and eye. SierraSurf DLSS 30+ is FDA approved for indirect food use, and is used in food packaging adhesives.
