Chemical Name / INCI:

Diethylhexyl Sodium Sulfosuccinate and Isopropyl Alcohol

CAS #:

0577-11-7

Chemical Family:

Anionic Surfactants > Dioctyl Sulfosuccinates

OVERVIEW

SierraSurf DOSS 70 IPA is an anionic surfactant based on dioctyl sodium sulfosuccinate (DOSS)—also known as bis(2-ethylhexyl) sodium sulfosuccinate, sodium dioctyl sulfosuccinate, and sodium bis(2-ethylhexyl) sulfosuccinate—formulated with diethylene glycol and isopropanol (IPA) as solvent/diluent. It delivers fast wetting and re-wetting at very low use levels for cost-efficient performance. Effective across pH 1.8-9.5, with reduced efficacy in the presence of ~1% caustic. Typical applications include textile processing, metal and glass cleaning formulations, and agricultural adjuvants where enhanced foliar penetration is required.
