SierraSurf 400 MO
OVERVIEW
SierraSurf 400 MO is a nonionic surfactant produced by reacting PEG 400 with vegetable-based oleic acid to form a stable ester. This versatile surfactant functions effectively as an emulsifier, lubricant, and emollient, making it valuable across diverse formulations. With an HLB of 12, it is particularly well-suited for oil-in-water emulsions. SierraSurf 400 MO is anhydrous and soluble in most oils, allowing easy incorporation into oil-based systems. Compared to many conventional nonionic surfactants, it offers a safer profile for human contact and the environment, combining performance with sustainability advantages.CERTIFICATIONS & REGULATORY
