OVERVIEW

SierraSulf CO, Canola oil, derived from rapeseed, can be transformed into sulfated canola oil—also referred to as sulfonated canola oil or canola oil sulfate—through sulfation, making it water-dispersible. This bio-based surfactant functions as a lubricant, emollient, and emulsifier, finding use in both personal care and industrial applications. Like other sulfated natural oils, it represents green chemistry: renewable, biodegradable, and non-VOC.
