OVERVIEW

SierraSulf ALS 70% is Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate an ammonium salt of ethoxylated laurel alcohol. SierraSulf ALS 70% is suitable for a wide range of applications, such as frothing latex compounds for carpet and textile applications, shampoos, body wash, industrial cleaners and many other applications requiring high foaming properties. SierraSulf ALS 70% contains low levels of salts and of free fatty alcohol and contains no hazardous ingredients. SierraSulf ALS 70% is considered by some cosmetic formulators to be a product of choice because it is a very large molecule. It is concluded by some that the larger molecule is more difficult to penetrate the skin. Following that logic, it is further concluded that the material is easily rinsed and therefore less likely to irritate skin.
