SierraSoap KO
OVERVIEW
SierraSoap KO is an anionic potassium soap widely used as an emulsifying agent and lubricant across multiple industries. Also known as potassium soap emulsifier or potassium fatty acid soap, it serves as an earth-friendly alternative to synthetic emulsifiers. In agriculture, it is used to emulsify insecticides and herbicides, improving stability and performance. In textiles, SierraSoap KO acts as a soap for removing excess dye and, when combined with wetting agents, helps prepare fabrics for dyeing by eliminating oils, waxes, and finishes. In leather treatment, it emulsifies oils and conditions hides, and is also used in leather cleaners and conditioners for simultaneous cleaning and softening. Additionally, SierraSoap KO finds use as a lubricant, mold release, and drawing compound, and as an emulsifier in lubricant and process chemical formulations, reducing reliance on synthetic chemistries.APPLICATIONS
