SierraSoap AS

OVERVIEW

SierraSoap AS is the first in a group of Ammonium Stearate products, also called stearic acid ammonium salt or ammonium octadecanoate, produced by Ascent. Most often used in textile formulations, SierraSoap AS provides the desired color stability and foam properties necessary to achieve the high-quality fabric coating and treatments demanded by the textile industry. SierraSoap AS contains excess ammonia beyond that required in the product reaction. Ascent produces Ammonium Stearate products with much lower levels of excess NH₃ for those who need this feature.
