SierraPhos NP-9

OVERVIEW

SierraPhos NP-9 is a phosphated nonylphenol ethoxylate (NPE) surfactant created by reacting NPEs with diphosphorous pentoxide. Also referred to as phosphated NPE or nonylphenol ethoxylate phosphate ester, this chemistry combines the strong emulsifying, dispersing, and detergency properties of NPEs with the added benefits of wetting and corrosion inhibition from the phosphate group. It offers good solubility, acid stability, and detergency, making it a versatile choice in industrial cleaners and agricultural formulations where both cleaning power and stability under harsh conditions are required.
