SierraPhos 2-EH 2 EO

OVERVIEW

SierraPhos 2-EH 2 EO is a neutralized phosphate ester derived from 2-ethylhexanol ethoxylate. Also referred to as 2-ethylhexyl ethoxylate phosphate ester or phosphated 2-EH 2 EO, this surfactant is valued for its very high caustic stability, low foaming profile, and excellent wetting and penetrating performance. It is widely used as a coupling agent in detergents and chemical formulations, enhancing compatibility and system stability. In addition, SierraPhos 2-EH 2 EO functions as an antistatic agent in systems compatible with strong anionic charge. When applied by spray or pad and dried onto substrates, it imparts an antistatic finish, with durability dependent on add-on level, application method, curing, and substrate type. This balance of stability, functionality, and application flexibility makes it useful across a broad range of industrial and specialty chemical systems.
