OVERVIEW

SierraCor OLEIC:DETA+ is a key raw material used in many corrosion inhibitor formulations. It can be converted into an acid salt using a variety of acids, and these salts can be used alone or in combination with other corrosion inhibitors. SierraCor OLEIC:DETA+ is a high-quality imidazoline, also referred to as oleic-based imidazoline, fatty acid amidoamine, or oleyl imidazoline, produced from virgin materials and processed to achieve a high degree of ring closure. Improved ring closure has a direct correlation to performance, clarity, and resistance to salting out over time.
