EtnaFoam 41B

OVERVIEW

EtnaFoam 41B is a filled silicone defoamer compound based on a mid-range viscosity Dimethyl silicone Fluid. The Silica is hydrophobized in a catalyzed reaction. EtnaFoam 41B is an effective defoamer when emulsified and introduced into aqueous systems. EtnaFoam 41B can be used as a base material to make more dilute products for general use. When formulating with 41B it is important to blend it properly into a pre-thickened solution with low shear with proper re-adjustment to the proper level of biocide to prevent bacteria.
