EtnaFoam EBSA

OVERVIEW

EtnaFoam EBSA is a 100% active ethylene bis stearamide available in approximately 15 pound ingots for use as a component in formulating non-silicone defoamers in mineral oil suspension. The product is readily soluble in all forms of mineral oil, including paraffinic, naphthenic and low boiling cuts such as mineral spirits and mineral seal oil. The product forms clear solutions in these oils at temperatures above 110˚C, then begins to titer or flake out at lower temperatures. Typical ranges of concentration for EBSA 100 in oil are 1 to 10%, with the lower levels being used in textile applications and the higher levels being used in paper applications.
