EtnaFoam KI

OVERVIEW

EtnaFoam KI is a 100% active silicone filled with hydrophobized silica. It is used primarily as a base material for formulators but can be used as supplied in certain applications. The hydrophobized silica is often used in combination with silicone to enhance performance in emulsions. Similarly, where straight silicones are used for defoaming the addition of silica typically offers an improved performance that will vary accordingly. In formulation, EtnaFoam KI is sometimes used to manufacture emulsions.
