OVERVIEW

SierraSurf CAPB 35 is a surfactant derived from fatty acid materials from coconut oil reacted with dimethylaminopropylamine, producing Cocamidopropyl Betaine, also referred to as CAPB or coco-betaine. SierraSurf CAPB 35 has many uses in shampoos and body wash as a foaming soap, in industrial applications as a primary foaming agent or as a foam booster and flash foamer for other surfactants. SierraSurf CAPB 35 is used in oil and gas as a foamer, and in carwash soaps as a detergent and foaming agent. In cosmetics and personal care, SierraSurf CAPB 35 is considered mild to the skin, highly effective for cleansing, and economical to use. SierraSurf CAPB 35 exhibits moderately high resistance to water hardness and brine, making it a chemistry of choice in adverse water conditions.
