SierraSurf CAPB 30 is a versatile amphoteric surfactant, cocamidopropyl betaine (CAPB), produced from coconut oil-derived fatty acids reacted with dimethylaminopropylamine. Widely used in personal care, industrial, and specialty formulations, it functions as a primary foaming agent, foam booster, and detergent. In shampoos, body washes, and cosmetics, CAPB is valued for its mildness, effective cleansing, and skin compatibility. Industrial applications include oil and gas foamers, car wash detergents, and foam boosters for other surfactants. SierraSurf CAPB 30 offers moderate resistance to water hardness and brine, making it effective in challenging water conditions.
