SierraCor TOFA:DETA

OVERVIEW

SierraCor TOFA:DETA is a key raw material used in many corrosion inhibitor formulations. It can be converted into an acid salt using a variety of acids, and these salts can be used alone or in combination with other corrosion inhibitors. SierraCor TOFA:DETA is a high-quality imidazoline, also referred to as tall oil fatty acid imidazoline, TOFA-based imidazoline, or fatty acid amidoamine, produced from virgin materials and processed to achieve an improved degree of ring closure. Improved ring closure has a direct correlation to performance, clarity, and resistance to salting out over time.
