SierraQuat 90 LVOC
OVERVIEW
SierraQuat 90 LVOC is an imidazoline, also known as an imidazoline-based quaternary ammonium compound or diethyl sulfate quat, that is 90% active. It is a highly reacted material with a very high closure and a minimum of unreacted material. SierraQuat 90 LVOC is a formulation additive for tissue manufacturing offering excellent softness, good release to prevent sticking and tearing of tissue, and very low yellowing. It has a long and successful history of use in the paper industry with consistently good performance in a variety of products. The percent VOC for SierraQuat 90 LVOC is less than 1%, making it a low-VOC option. SierraQuat 90 LVOC can be used as an emulsifier and cationic surfactant in a variety of formulations for cleaners.APPLICATIONS
