OVERVIEW

SierraSurf DOSS 70 E is an anionic surfactant based on dioctyl sodium sulfosuccinate (DOSS), formulated with ethanol as solvent/diluent. Also known as bis(2-ethylhexyl) sodium sulfosuccinate, sodium dioctyl sulfosuccinate, and sodium bis(2-ethylhexyl) sulfosuccinate, it delivers rapid wetting, re-wetting, and emulsification at very low use levels. Optimized for neutral to acidic baths, it excels in textile processing, industrial cleaners, and specialty formulations; exposure to strong alkalinity (e.g., ~1% caustic) reduces performance. The ethanol-containing DOSS solution enables easy handling, fast dissolution, and consistent results across coatings, detergents, and process aids.
