OVERVIEW

SierraLube BIO CD is a high-performance, bio-based lubricant formulated for oilfield drilling applications, with more than 90% renewable plant-derived content. It effectively lowers friction, torque, and drag in demanding drilling operations, improving efficiency and tool reliability. Unlike conventional petroleum or ester-based lubricants, SierraLube BIO CD is a waterless material that blends easily with oils and oil-based liquids, while remaining fully water-dispersible and miscible for broad formulation flexibility. Its very high flash point offers enhanced safety and thermal stability, making it a versatile and environmentally responsible alternative for drilling systems.
